Online giving

Online giving with no platform fee

B1 never sits in the money path. Your church connects its own payment account, gifts go straight to you, and B1 adds nothing on top. You pay only your processor's rate.

Giving to a church from the B1 member app

    Your account, your money

Each church connects its own payment gateway. Card data never touches ChurchApps servers.

    • Stripe, including Apple Pay and Google Pay on one-time gifts
    • PayPal, with Venmo buttons
    • Paystack across Africa, with mobile money and bank transfer
    • Bank (ACH) gifts, with instant verification for guests

    What it actually costs

B1 charges no platform fee and has no paid tiers. The only cost is your processor's rate, which goes to them, not us.

    • Stripe offers discounted rates to eligible nonprofits (2.2% + $0.30 per card gift)
    • Donors can choose to cover the processing fee
    • Multi-currency giving with Stripe in 15 currencies

    Recurring giving that recovers itself

Members set up recurring gifts and manage them from the app.

    • Pause or resume Stripe recurring gifts anytime
    • Failed gifts appear in one list with a Retry button
    • Donors are emailed when a gift fails, and again 3 and 7 days later

    Funds, campaigns, and pledges

Give donors clear choices and track every goal.

    • Tax-deductible and hidden funds
    • Giving links that preset a fund and amount
    • Campaigns with goals, progress bars, and pledged-versus-given totals
    • Anonymous gifts

    Cash, checks, and records

Everything given lands in one place, alongside your people data.

    • Batch entry for cash and checks
    • Import missing Stripe transactions
    • Year-end statements with your logo, including Canada, Australia, and New Zealand formats
    • Members can view and print their own giving history

    Online giving questions

Does B1 take a cut of donations?

No. B1 has no platform fee. Gifts go directly to your church's own Stripe, PayPal, or Paystack account, and you pay only that processor's rate.

Which payment processors work with B1?

Stripe, PayPal (with Venmo), and Paystack. Kingdom Funding is available in beta.

Can members give from their phone?

Yes. Members give from the church app or website, set up recurring gifts, and see their full giving history.

Can we record cash and check gifts?

Yes. Enter them in batches so every gift appears on year-end statements.
